A downloadable game for Windows

1. Worldview & Narrative Background

You wake in a cold bath, haunted by fragmented memories and a house that should no longer exist. On the other side of the mirror, a version of you calls out for help—but not everything reflected is real.

2. Core Mechanic

- Traverse a house split between two mirrored realities.

- Switch planes by crossing mirrors.

- Observe objects to alter both worlds.

- Follow instructions from your other self… if you can still trust her.

3. Features

🪞 Mirror-Switching: Cross dimensions by entering mirrors—your position swaps with the other self.

🧠 Asymmetrical Dual Protagonists: One body is controlled; the other echoes, reacts, or manipulates.

📚 Environmental Storytelling: Interact with personal objects, diaries, and memories—both yours and hers.

🕯️ Fragmented Narrative: A looping path through grief, identity, and betrayal.

4. Developer’s Note

This is a short demo crafted for GMTK Game Jam 2024.

Rather than focus on puzzles or combat, Spilt Self is a personal story—built on atmosphere, slow realizations, and the quiet horror of memory.

It's our first time making game. Your understanding and tolerance regarding any shortcomings about this game are greatly appreciated.

Thank you for playing.
